A stand-alone Quantum story from New York Times bestselling author M.S. Force!

She wants a baby. He wants her. Simple enough, right?

Ellie Godfrey has kissed her share of frogs. So many, in fact, that she fears she won’t recognize her prince if and when he finally comes along. Tired of waiting for THE ONE, Ellie decides to have a baby on her own before it’s too late.

When Jasper Autry hears about Ellie’s plan, what else can he do but step in and offer to “contribute” to her project. Does that make him an opportunist? Whatever. He wants the perpetually out-of-reach Ellie Godfrey, and when he sees his chance, he takes it. That she’s the sister of his business partner and close friend Flynn gives him pause, but it doesn’t stop him from having what he wants.

As Jasper and Ellie embark upon their secret “project,” he makes it clear that for as long as they’re together, he’s in charge—in the bedroom anyway. After the hottest sex of her life, Ellie realizes she’s made a deal with the devil himself.

Warning: If you hate foul-mouthed heroes who like it a little rough and dirty, this might not be the book for you…Contains hot and sexy BDSM scenes among other things that might not appeal to the faint of heart. Enter at your own risk and enjoy!

When it comes to a book such as this, it may not be suitable for the faint of heart or those who do not enjoy explicit sexual content.

Ellie has her life under control and planned out, except for the fact she’s been unable to find her Prince Charming. When it seems everyone around her, siblings and friends, are pairing off, she decides to take matters into her own hands to get exactly what she wants: a baby.

Jasper has a secret he’s been keeping from everyone. He’s found success as a cinematographer and has even found himself a new family with his friends & business partners. He’s done his best to live his own life in LA and not back in his hometown of London. When Ellie, one of his best friends sister, confesses to him that she wants a baby despite being single, he doesn’t hesitate to offer to father the child with her. However, it has to be done “the old fashion way” and he will sign away his rights.

Can they really make a baby together without a relationship attachment? The closer they get, the more they learn about one another and the secrets Jasper is desperately trying to hide. Will the truth interfere with their plans? How will Ellie and Jasper adjust to the curve balls that are thrown their way?

As someone who reads very little explicit content books, it takes a special author and a captivating story line for me to fully invest in such a book. Ravenous, however, had just the storyline and interesting characters I needed in order to really look past the situation(s) that might make one uncomfortable or put down a book. I thought the characters and the unique situations weren’t extremely far fetched and difficult to believe. I truly enjoyed the friendship turned romantic relationship that developed between Ellie and Jasper. Besides, who can resist a handsome, successful man that also has a British accent? Not me and certainly not Ellie.

Ellie had been looking far and wide for someone to want a relationship with her and not just her famous parents and brother. She wanted the whole package. Someone who could love her, start a family with her, and not get caught up in the celebrities that she surrounds herself with on a daily basis. Surprisingly, that someone was right in front of her all along. Ellie and Jasper’s relationship came together so organically. They understood one another and did not push one another to do anything the other didn’t feel comfortable doing. They challenged one another and in between all the newness wanting each other and only each other, they found themselves truly living the lives they’ve been longing for all along.

It was a beautiful, romantic, love story that was told about Jasper and Ellie. With, of course, several sexy scenes and not to mention family drama. If you enjoy a good romantic read that is heavy on the sex scenes, then this book is the one for you.

I personally enjoyed the general story surrounding our two main characters, Jasper and Ellie. And with that aspect alone,  I give the book a solid 4 stars.
