He's cute. He's famous. And he could ruin everything...
Every member of Seconds to Juliet has a girlfriend-except for Nathan Strong. Now the band's manager is leaning hard on "The Cute One" to play the role of the band's heartthrob. With the band's sales in decline, it's up to Nathan to keep the fans' fantasy alive.
The plan is to stage a fake relationship and a fake breakup, and then let the fans fight to be the one to mend Nathan's broken heart. Just one problem. There's another girl in the picture-one Nathan can't stay away from. In private, Nathan's stealing kisses with the band's new opening act, Abby Curtis.
If they're caught, no one wins. Abby will be fired, and the band might not recover the success they need to survive. But even with the pressure mounting, Nathan and Abby can't stop themselves from stealing one more touch, one more kiss. And it's only a matter of time before it all falls apart.
This Entangled Teen Crush book is as forbidden as the secret romance it contains! It has hot kisses, graphic language, and extreme misbehaving. DO NOT GET CAUGHT WITH THIS BOOK…unless you want everyone to know you believe in true love.
I’ve read every single Backstage Pass series book and after reading this one, I wish there were one more boy in the band left to read about and swoon over! This has been such a fun series and it’s hard to pick just which book is my favorite. Every one has given me many reasons to fall in love with Seconds to Juliet…even though they are a fictional boyband. 😉
Nathan Strong is the youngest S2J member and the only one without a girlfriend. With him being the only one rocking the single status, their manager is forcing the “cute one” to become the band’s new heartthrob. This newfound status leaves Nathan the only one able to keep the fans fantasies alive.
With fake dates and relationships in the works by none other than the band’s manager, Nathan finds himself needing to take a moment to breathe and get away from the cameras and all of the pretending. Thanks to Beau, one of the bodyguards, Nathan escapes for a brief walk, only to come across Abby Curtis. These two instantly hit it off and their chemistry is undeniable. The moment Nathan and Abby meet is just the beginning of a life changing adventure…
What was so fun about this book was to see Nathan grow. He goes from being the youngest in the band, at sixteen, to someone beyond his years. I love how he interacts with Abby and feeds off of her creativity and spirit. They are both woven from the same fabric and perfect for one another, yet their journey together isn’t an easy one. With the band’s manager determined to keep them apart, they have to hide their feelings, even though they don’t do very well and are caught more than once.
It was also fun to see Abby’s dreams come true and all on her own, without the help of Nathan. Their meeting was purely by coincidence. Her confidence grows by leaps and bounds from start to finish and she just might be one of my favorite of the S2J band members girlfriends.
Abby and the Cute One has it’s ups and downs but in the end, you’re left feeling completely on cloud nine and wishing for it to go on and not to end. This whole series has been so much fun for my boyband loving self. If you’re looking for a fun series, this is the one! And the attractive guys are simply an added bonus. 😉
4.5 out of five stars.
