Is falling in love the beginning . . . or the end?
In Ethan Wate's hometown there lies the darkest of secrets . . .
There is a girl. Slowly, she pulled the hood from her head . . . Green eyes, black hair. Lena Duchannes.
There is a curse. On the Sixteenth Moon, the Sixteenth Year, the Book will take what it's been promised. And no one can stop it.
In the end, there is a grave.
Lena and Ethan become bound together by a deep, powerful love. But Lena is cursed and on her sixteenth birthday, her fate will be decided. Ethan never even saw it coming.
In two weeks, this gripping novel will be coming to the big screen. And for someone who has read this book and fallen into the Caster world, I am so excited to see Lena Duchannes and Ethan Wate’s story come to life.
It took me awhile to finally give into all the hype and read this novel for myself, but as soon as I started reading, I found it extremely difficult to put down. Maybe it was the story being told in the males point of view, or the battle between light and dark power? Whatever it was, the story that Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia created, is a story that I will recommend to anyone and everyone. Their story flowed together effortlessly, making me amazed that two authors wrote it. The world they created for their readers is a world I will gladly dive into any day.
The love and connection between Ethan and Lena is unlike any other. While most books have a romantic thread that seems to take the fast track, Ethan and Lena’s takes it’s time and develop into a love that is so real and true, you can’t help but to fall in love yourself.
Five out of five stars.
